This was a theoretical brief set as a short university project imagining a campaign for an independent Dorset.
The goal was to produce and publically display two posters. These posters were intended to promote a fictional push to make Dorset an independent nation. We were tasked with choosing a target demographic and designing the posters to appeal to them.
Targeting university-age students, the produced design was a simple, bold and colourful image which could easily be adapted to produce a range of posters for the campaign. In keeping with the demographic, the main call to action of the posters was presented as a social media hashtag, accompanied by a short, memorable slogan. The posters were displayed in a foyer at Bournemouth University, and received largely positive feedback.
